What we collect when you apply for a Creator Opportunity Analysis, what we do with it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about it.

Who we are
Team Strategy is operated by Justin Gilmore in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. For questions about your information or this notice, contact hello@teamstrategy.com.
Information we collect
When you apply for a Creator Opportunity Analysis, we collect your name, email address, selected platform, handle or profile link, approximate audience size, niche, and your answers about your audience and business. You may also provide a brand name, additional profiles, details of existing products and monetization, and anything else you choose to share.
We record your age-eligibility response, whether a parent or guardian is submitting an inquiry, and your optional marketing preference. Handles may be converted into full profile links, and we may keep the handle you entered alongside the resulting link.
On the profiles you identify, we review relevant public content, existing offers and publicly available audience engagement, limited to what assessing the opportunity needs. Public information can still be personal information.
Please do not include payment details, identification documents, sensitive personal information, or private information about other people that the review does not need.
Our hosting and service providers also process technical information needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website and the form, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and request times.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site files we publish contain no analytics, advertising or tracking code and set no cookies, and they load nothing from other companies — every font, script and image the site needs comes from our own domain.
Separately from those files, our hosting provider is able to insert its own performance-measurement script into pages as it serves them. That happens on the server, not in anything we wrote. We have opted out of that optional feature and are confirming its removal. Until we have confirmed it on the live site we do not claim the served pages are free of it. To ask where that stands, contact hello@teamstrategy.com.
How we use information
We use your information to review your application, research potential product opportunities, prepare an analysis, communicate with you, and explore a possible partnership. We also use what is necessary to protect the service, prevent abuse, respond to privacy requests, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Applying does not subscribe you to promotional email. We send updates and offers only if you tick the separate optional marketing checkbox. You can withdraw that choice at any time by contacting us, or by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing message.
Our legal bases
Where United Kingdom or European Union data protection law applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases.
- Evaluating the partnership you asked us to consider — steps taken at your request before any contract. This covers the answers you give us, and review of the profiles you identify, to the extent that evaluation needs. It does not extend to wider collection of public information about you.
- Marketing emails — your consent, given through the separate optional checkbox. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we sent beforehand.
- Keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims — our legitimate interests. We limit this to what those purposes need.
- Meeting legal obligations — where a law requires us to keep or disclose information.
We do not ask for special category information, and you should not send it.
Your application is reviewed by a person. If we later introduce specialized AI or research services, we will establish the lawful basis for that processing as part of the provider review described below, before any application information is sent to such a service. This section does not authorise that processing in advance.
Personal review, and specialized tools
Every application is read and assessed by a person. That is how applications are reviewed today.
We may later use specialized AI and research services to help assess expertise, audience and partnership potential. Before we send application information to any such service, we complete a review of that provider. Until that review is complete for a given service, application information is not sent to it.
Where we do use these services, we limit what is shared to what the analysis needs, remove names and email addresses from application extracts, and exclude unnecessary personal details. Removing names does not necessarily make information anonymous, particularly when profile links or other identifying details remain. Inquiries submitted by a parent or guardian about a creator aged 13 to 17 are reviewed manually, without entering their information into such tools.
These tools would support our evaluation. Partnership decisions are made by us.
Service providers and sharing
We use website-hosting, form-processing and email providers, and where appropriate research and AI services, to support these activities. Applications are received through our form-processing service and delivered to our email account, so records of an application can exist in more than one service.
We do not sell application information, and we do not give it to advertisers for their own marketing. We may disclose information when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Information sent outside the UK and EEA
We operate in the United States, and our hosting, form-processing and email providers process information there. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, your information is therefore transferred outside it.
Safeguards differ between the providers we use. Our hosting provider's data processing terms form part of our agreement with it and cover international transfers through approved mechanisms, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension and the Standard Contractual Clauses. The service that receives our application form publishes a statement that it relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor. If the safeguards that apply to a particular provider matter to you, ask us at hello@teamstrategy.com before you apply, and we will tell you what that provider has confirmed to us in writing.
How long we keep information
- Applications we do not take forward. We delete the full application within 12 months of our last substantive conversation about it. If there is no follow-up conversation, the period runs from when you submitted it. A marketing message does not restart this clock.
- Active partnerships. We keep relevant records while we are working together, and afterwards for applicable contractual, accounting, legal or dispute-resolution needs. We keep only what those purposes require.
- Marketing contacts. We stop marketing as soon as you unsubscribe, and we remove inactive contacts from the active marketing list after 24 months without meaningful engagement.
- Unsubscribe records. We keep the minimum information needed to honour an opt-out for as long as we maintain a marketing list.
These periods govern the application and contact records we control. Some copies held by services may be removed sooner. Providers may retain their own security logs, backups or legally required records under their terms, and we do not promise a deletion period for those records that we have not verified. We apply deletion requests across the services holding records we control, subject to applicable exceptions.
Younger creators
Adults aged 18 or over can apply for themselves. For creators aged 13 to 17, a parent or legal guardian must submit the inquiry and be our point of contact. We do not accept applications for creators under 13. A parent or guardian with a general question can email us without including information that identifies a child under 13.
Your choices and rights
Contact hello@teamstrategy.com to ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw your marketing preference. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights of access, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights can be subject to exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it. We respond within the applicable legal timeframe.
Security and changes
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no website or service can guarantee absolute security. We update this notice when our practices change, and we explain material changes where appropriate.
